How Do I Know if I Am a Good Candidate for MINT™ PDO?

For the most optimal results, the ideal candidate should have a skin layer that is not too thin or too thick and not extremely uneven. The skin should be thin enough so MINT™ PDO can make a visible difference and thick enough so the threads are not too close to the surface of the skin. One way to check before a consultation with your provider is a to lay down on your back and see if you like the way your face looks, as it can be good indicator of how effective MINT™ PDO can be. Lastly, please consult with a WFD Provider to determine if you are an optimal candidate for a MINT™ Procedure.

How Long Does the MINT™ Procedure Take?

The procedure takes an average of one hour but can take anywhere between 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Patients will see immediate results after the procedure that can last up to 1 year. We recommend patients to consult with a WFD provider prior to the procedure day to discuss the look they desire and the results they can expect. Typically you will schedule an appointment for consultation for MINT™ PDO and after the consultation appointment you can schedule your appointment anywhere from 7-10 days after your consultation. This allows us to ensure the appropriate amount of time to create your new rejuvenated appearance.

MINT™ lifts the skin and tissues of the face and neck via a unique two pronged mechanism which allows the face thread lifts or neck lift to have a continuous lift over time.

Firstly, the threads mechanically lift the skin and tissues where they have been placed during the face or neck thread lifts. These threads may also contain additional barbs and cones for additional stability and pull. Once the face or neck has been pulled, the skin and tissues that have been lifted and pulled remain in place.

Secondly, the threads used in the face or neck thread lifts stimulate natural collagen formation by the skin and tissues in the face and neck. This additional collagen formation gives a continued improvement in the lift and pull over time and sustains the results of thread lifts

Cost

A thread lift is less than expensive than a traditional face lift, but it’s not covered by insurance. Costs vary according to many factors, but the average cost starts at around $2,250.
